Title:

USING MISSILEíS RGB-D SENSORS TO TRACK ENEMY ARMY IN ORDER TO DECREASE CIVILIANíS CASUALTY IN MISSILE WAR

Abstract:

As technology grows, it changes everything and war is not a difference. Using human resource in direct battle has cost, so for decreasing human death, far distance battles takes advantage, and in this field, missiles have priority. All the controllable missiles have GPS and a visual camera in the rocket tip or warhead, which uses image processing techniques to track and hit. By increasing such a war in the world, especially in Middle East, and with the aim of reducing civilianís mass destruction, this paper proposed a new method. This paper proposes a method to use depth or range cameras beside of color ones to increase the accuracy and better functionality on the day and night time, for preventing civilianís death. Depth sensor which is attached to the tip of missile, must distinguish civilians from enemy clothing and texture patterns and change the way if target was civilians or just terminate the functionality of the missile with the help of color sensor. For testing the system, Kinect V.2 is employed as color and range sensor and it will work with any other infrared sensors based on proposed theory. As it is clear infrared cameras could calculate distance in day or night time which is so crucial in missile war. Features like Speeded-Up Robust Features (SURF), Local Phase Quantization (LPQ) and Local Binary Patterns (LBP) are employed along with K-Nearest Neighbour (K-NN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifiers for fast detection because missiles are so fast, times matter. Moreover, Kalman tracking is using for tracking moving enemies. For validating, a database is collected from internet plus self-made data recorded using Kinect V.2 sensor. Achieved results shows fast recognition and action in our test. This method could be used in real environment and with stronger devices, but the base is same.

REMOTE PC ADMINISTRATION THROUGH MOBILE PHONE: A CASE STUDY

Abstract:

Analyzing and controlling systems through mobile phones is quite common and interesting. Administrating the number of systems concerns wide variety of tools and refers the software and hardware systems. The idea behind this is to maintain and control the different resources inside the systems. Various number of administrators, programmers and operators are related to this area. Sometime administrating the most of systems is usually a complicated job concerning analysis and installation of new systems. System Administrator usually performs various jobs related to troubleshooting of the system, along with providing the training to number of users. Installing, maintaining, configuring, setting the polices and standards are main jobs of system administrators. Presently, controlling and maintaining the Computers remotely provides an easy and flexible service to various administrators and users. As they can use and troubleshoot their systems from any particular remote location. This paper mainly focusses on the intent to using a system at a remote location by using android mobile phone. By applying this approach, one can operate, maintain and control the system at a distant location.

DESIGN OF A RECOMMENDER SYSTEM FOR ONLINE SHOPPING USING DECISION TREE AND APRIORI ALGORITHM

Abstract:

With the growing data available on the Internet, customization of the web sites information has become a requirement for users. A procedure for the appropriate customization of web data is configured by automatic extraction of combined knowledge of the log file and user profile information. In this paper, integration of decision tree and association rules for user profile information and log information of website in an online shopping store is targeted. The tangible results, of such a framework for decision makers and marketers, are customization of web pages and statistical analysis for sale improvement. By applying association rules, the website usersí patterns are mined and by utilizing decision tree the users are classified and their interests are determined. By combining the results of two algorithms and its analysis, the behavior models from user profile, user interests in terms of age and gender, and the most visited web pages by subject can be achieved.

USABILITY FRAMEWORK IN AGILE SOFTWARE PROCESSES

Abstract:

Software development field is becoming more productive day by day with the wonderful model name Agile. Agile is the main focus of research now a days. It is because of its abilities of handling changes in efficient way through iterative and incremental practices. Although it became famous because of its capabilities still there are some issues in it, which is ignorance of usability engineering in different phases of agile that is an important aspect to understand the software. Usability has deep roots in software quality and is a core construct of Human Computer Interaction (HCI). To develop interactive and usable systems there is a need of such a model which can integrate HCI with Agile. To address this issue, we have proposed a model which will work with both User Centered (main focus of HCI) and Agile by assembling different practices from both fields which will result in useable products. It will enhance software life with user satisfaction by giving them running software with usability.

SYSTEMATIC MAPPING STUDY OF APPROACHES TO SUPPORT AGILE-INSPIRED EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract:

Since 2002 researchers have investigated the transfer of Agile methodologies into the embedded domain. Specifically, the deployment of an Agile methodology as a defect-reduction strategy to improve the reliability of the software-components of embedded systems. After more than a decade of active research, it is now appropriate to present an overview of the current extent of Agile-inspired embedded software development research (AIESDR). We perform a systematic mapping to categorize and summarize the current status of this area and identify future opportunities in the AIESDR field. We present the results to provide an overview of existing AIESDR and act as a baseline for follow-up AEISDR.

DATA MINING-BASED PLACEMENT OF COMPETENT EMPLOYEES USING DECISION TREE WITH THE C4.5 ALGORITHM

Abstract:

The Personnel Management Organizing Body is an agency that deals with government affairs that its duties in the field of civil service management are in accordance with the provisions of the legislation. In carrying out governmental duties in the field of personnel management, the Personnel Management Organizing Body requires qualified Apparatus, Employees and their placement must be in accordance with their competence. Until now there are still problems with the placement of employees in positions that are not in accordance with their competence. Data mining; in this study was implemented to measure the level of suitability of employees for positions occupied by involving large amounts of data, the technique used for classification is the decision tree with the C4.5 algorithm. The C4.5 algorithm is used as a tool to determine the extent of suitability between employees and positions they occupy. The parameters that are used consist of five elements, namely education, training, job experience, expertise, and skills. With the object of the study using 540 profile data of employees who hold administrator positions (equivalent to echelon III, 130 people) and supervisors (equivalent echelon IV, 410 people). The accuracy, of suitability between employees and positions they occupy is based on testing of the results of the classification of the decision tree method and C4.5 algorithm which is conducted using 90% training data and 10% testing data, is 95 %.

Title:

EFFICIENT FEATURES REDUCTION FOR BREAST CANCER IMAGES CLASSIFICATION

Abstract:

Reducing the classification process time, for identifying male tissues in medical images, has always been a challenge. In this paper, an efficient approach is presented that improves the classification time of breast cancer mammogram images. First, a preprocessing phase is applied for background correction and noise removal using Wave Atom transform and a universal cascaded filter, respectively. Then, the segmentation process is carried out through Particle Swarm Optimization, Hidden Markov Random Field Model with its Expectation-Maximization algorithm, and Kirsch's templates. Finally, features extraction and classification are employed. The proposed method is used to efficiently reduce the amount of data that represent the statistically based textural features of the image. Experimental results show that the employment of the selected preprocessing algorithms leads to a better classification accuracy than that of the commonly known digital filters. Moreover, the proposed method improves the classification time by using only six, out of twenty-two, features that mostly contains the image information. Finally, classification procedures using Naive Bayes (NB) is applied depending on the reduced features. The accuracy of the obtained results is compared with literature and good results are achieved.

AUTOMATED TESTING OF MOTION-BASED EVENTS IN MOBILE APPLICATION

Abstract:

Automated test case generation is one of the main challenges in testing mobile applications. This challenge becomes more complicated when the application being tested supports motion-based events. In this paper, we propose a novel, hidden Markov model (HMM)-based approach to automatically generate movement-based gestures in mobile applications. A HMM classifier is used to generate movements, which mimic a userís behaviour in interacting with the applicationís User Interface (UI). We evaluate the proposed technique on four different case studies; the evaluation indicates that the technique not only generates realistic test cases, but also achieves better code coverage when compared to randomly generated test cases.

Title:

USING VISUAL EVOLUTIONARY ART BASED ON COLOR PATTERNS AND DEPTH ASSIST FOR AUTISM REHABILITATION

Abstract:

It is possible to solve highly complicated mathematical problem using evolutionary nature inspired algorithms like Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA). Despite of their capability to solve mathematical problems, they can be seen or hear as beautiful as the nature. For example, if an Evolutionary Algorithm (EA) appears in pixel and color, it looks like a visual artwork. Thus, they can be used in psychology and medical rehabilitation (like autism) purposes. This paper presents a method to show the ICA algorithm in colorful pixels to communicate with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) person for rehabilitation purposes. Moreover, depth image is used to calculate the distance between subject and sensor (Kinect V.2). Face detection employs Viola and Jones algorithm and face recognition uses SIFT features along with K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classifier for fast recognition. As there are no more than just 5 subjects, system works fast and precise using subjectís pre-learned face images. System works in a communicative manner between computer and the subject (ASD person) along with an autism psychologist to estimate the rehabilitation percentage (positive or negative) in each experiment on 5 ASD children. This communicative manner relation between human and computer is called, Human Computer Interaction (HCI). System performance is validated using 5 aesthetic measures as objective function for ICA. Proposed evolutionary art returned perfect results on making art works and also in validation part. System is tested with 5 aesthetic measures as fitness function. After finding proper pattern, it is possible to use this system in an applicable method even in real time systems.

EVALUATION OF QUALITATIVE ATTRIBUTES OF THE ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE USING A COMBINATION OF DEMATEL AND FUZZY-ANP

Abstract:

With an increase in the number of qualitative attributes that affect the enterprise architecture (EA) analysis, shareholders need an approach capable of quantitatively evaluating these attributes. Despite the development of many EA evaluation approaches, they often concentrated on an already implemented EA plan. As a result, they cannot be used for the assessment of projects underway. Moreover, some approaches do not consider the relationship between qualitative criteria and the mechanism of their effect on each other. This study proposes a new approach to assess qualitative attributes of enterprise architecture. It identifies the relationship between qualitative attributes and their effects on each other using the Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) technique. The priority criteria are then weighted using the fuzzy Analytic Network Process (ANP). Finally, the total scores of criteria are specified based on the enterprise architecture evidence and outputs. A case study is used to evaluate the proposed approach. To this end, the master plan of information and communication technology of municipalities in Iran is selected. The quality attribute of security is assessed and quantified using the proposed approach. The case study shows that the current status of the investigated enterprise fulfills 65% of the ideal qualitative attributes of security. Moreover, a comparison with previous works indicates the superiority of the proposed approach in terms of important factors in multi criteria decision making.
