Title:

A REVIEW ON REQUIREMENT ELICITATION EFFORT IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

Abstract:

Requirement gathering is one of the main activities in software management process. In general, requirement elicitation is referred to as the essential process to aid software team members to develop new systems and user functionalities. Many studies have been accompanied for viewing the issues from different aspects. This study investigates the practice of requirement gathering in software management process by adopting literature review approach. This paper presents the results of the reviews on an evident of the current issues related to requirement elicitation, the need for requirement elicitation in software development and existing works aimed at requirement elicitation in software processes. The findings of this review indicate that requirement elicitation requires consideration to seek on numerous limitations and issues.

Title:

K-NEAREST NEIGHBOR ALGORITHM FOR DETERMINATION OF HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Abstract:

This study aims to assist teachers in determining the direction to be more effective and efficient. This research was conducted using K-Nearest Neighbor method. This study took 50 data placement of students from major data of 228 students. The 50 data values obtained and placement of students is divided into two parts, namely 40 and 10 training data and test data. The study was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Waringinkurung starting from May until August. Data are obtained directly from the students that are then analyzed by manual calculation and then applied to the determination of the application until a match is found between the area of manual calculations with the application. This application uses the Java programming language with Netbeans as the IDE and MySQL supporting data storage. The application prompts the user to enter student data and aspects are used to determine the majors. The end result of this application form calculations using K-Nearest Neighbor method and browse the student. Based on the results of this study concluded that: the time to determine the majors is faster and directly determines the majors.

SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW OF BLOCKCHAIN IN REQUISITES OF BIG DATA AND ITS APPLICATIONS

Abstract:

The word Blockchain has introduced a new technology which helps to utilize the distributed ledger system using distributed transactional databases. The blockchain works on three main categories. The first one, decentralization which contains no centralized authorities that dictates to other blocks. The second one is transparency, which dictates easy validated transactions however it allow us verifiable transparency in each mechanism. The last one is immutable which restricts us to temper the data because once the data has been changed it will agitate the whole chain of data. The immutable pillar is actually used for security purpose in blockchain technology. Blockchain technology uses peer to peer network that allows to join new block in chain without affecting other blocks. In this research, we are discussing about recent approaches, methodologies and recent trends which are being used in blockchain technology and big data.

Title:

COMPARATIVE STUDY OF CLASSIFIERS FOR SENTIMENT ANALYSIS IN BAHASA

Abstract:

As the use of the internet is continuously increasing, there are a huge amount of opinions available online. This is proven by the existence of a site specifically made for book reviews called Goodreads (www.goodreads.com). In this site, the user can freely express their opinions, give an assessment through star-rating, and write a review for specific book they read. The abundance of information from unstructured data like this encourages the emergence of knowledge in text analysis or also known as sentiment analysis. The complexity of analysis sentiment includes selecting appropriate classification algorithm. Other than that, a problem often found in classifying text is imbalanced dataset that can cause seriously negative effect on classifier’s performance of machine learning algorithm. The purpose of this research is to compare 3 classifier’s performance, which are Naïve Bayes, Random Forest and K-Nearest Neighbor, in dealing with imbalanced dataset. The classification is done for 3 different comparison ratios, which are 90%:10%, 80%:20%, and 70%:30%, and 3 different random sampling values or known as random states, which are 0, 10, and 20. The performance is assessed based on accuracy, confusion matrix, and classification report that includes precision, recall, and F1-score calculation.

Title:

FINDING OF NON-OPTIMAL PRODUCTION RESULTS FOR PALM OIL DATA PROCESSING USING K-MEANS ALGORITHM

Abstract:

Indonesia is the largest producer of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in the world with an average growth of 8% every year since 2004 with an area of 12.30 million hectares. Even though Indonesia is the number one palm oil producer in the world, the results of productivity of each province have not been evenly distributed. This study aims to find out which provinces have not been optimally produced. A mapping method for productivity results is needed to categorize the data so that there is an even distribution of oil palm production in each province in Indonesia. The source of research data was collected based on documents produced by the Central Bureau of Statistics from 2012-2017 in the form of plant area data and crop production data for oil palm plantations consisting of 24 provinces. Data is processed by applying the clustering method and the K-Means algorithm to map the results of oil palm productivity by dividing into 3 clusters, namely clusters less than the target, clusters according to the target and cluster more than the target. The results of the mapping found that the Province was not optimal at 67%, which was optimal at 25% and more than optimal at 8%.
